For me, the above image is somewhat of a left turn. Now, I have made left turns before, this is not my first... In fact, this past week I have just kept turning left as I began exploring a new color palette... and more specifically, a new set of steps in processing images. A little bit of high key, a little bit of an increase in tonal contrast on certain details (ensuring high key treatment doesn't wipe things out) [.....]
